Financial Wellness 101 is an interactive mental health–centered financial wellness experience that explores the emotional, psychological, and behavioral relationship people have with money.
This program was presented internationally during RefugePoint’s Virtual Mental Health Day—Nairobi (October 24)—for staff and experts supporting refugee and humanitarian communities.
Rather than focusing solely on budgeting or income, this experience addresses the emotional roots of financial stress, including fear-based behaviors, physical stress responses, and the connection between money, mental health, and interpersonal relationships.
Participants are guided to understand money not only as currency but also as a resource, emotional trigger, relational influence, and wellness factor.
